With a super fast response time, LG Electronics Flatron L1732TQ clocks in at 4ms and wins our “TopTenREVIEWS Silver Award” This flat panel monitor has an unparalleled 1400:1 contrast ratio for rich color display. To top it off, it’s plug and play able with both PCs and Macs, so it’s ready to go.
Even though this monitor displays an unrivaled image, it cannot pass up the Dell in terms of extras. The Dell UltraSharp 1707FP has four USB ports and pivot ability. However, if you are a Mac user, Dell is not compatible.
Display:
This LCD computer monitor has incredible display ability, with an unmatched contrast ratio of 1400:1 and a swift response time of 4ms with a brightness of 300cd/m2. You should never see a flickering or ghosting with this monitor and the color dimension should be exceptional. The viewing angle is an extra wide 160° horizontal and vertical, so several people should be able to look at the monitor at the same time easily.
It has auto–synchronous vertical scanning frequencies of 56–75Hz and auto–synchronous horizontal frequencies of 30–83kHz. In terms of inputs, it has digital and RGB Analog and the terminals are DVI–D and a 15 Pin D–Sub.
Ergonomic Adjustments:
This monitor only tilts, to get more flexibility you would have to mount it to an arm or adjust the height with a monitor stand.
Features:
This flat panel monitor has a Kensington Lock slot, onscreen user controls, and a VESA plug and play level DDC2B and DDC1. This model does not have integrated speakers, but with such a remarkable image you may want to add some comparable speakers, instead of the 1–3W monitor type.
This LG uses little power, only 35 Watts during use and a particularly low 1 Watt on standby. It is both PC and Macintosh compatible, whereas Dell 1707FP is not. This monitor does not have pivot or mirroring technology; however, LG does offer this ability in other models.

Summary:
This monitor is ideal for gamers or graphic artists on a budget and multi–media lovers. Furthermore, it will look impressive in the office as well. LG offers good customer service and a high level of compatibility, however if you need the extra USB ports or pivot ability, see the Dell UltraSharp 1707FP.
