The MultiSync 1740 CS has adequate display, an analog and digital interface and can be adjusted by tilt and height. If you are looking to save energy this monitor only uses 35W and in its power saving mode uses less than 2W.
Although this monitor does not have the best display, it redeems itself with not only low power use but also exceptional customer service. We used their chat option to ask about the power saving mode, they answered our questions quickly, much faster than Dell for example (which made us wait over four minutes). Not only were they fast to respond to our questions, they offer 24/7 support. They also include a three–year limited warranty, which covers defects in material and workmanship including backlight.
We would have liked to see a Kensington lock slot option and an integrated headphone jack included. This might be a good choice for someone who is looking for a reasonably priced monitor(s) that uses little energy and has a good enough display for common applications.
