This monitor has a good display and 16.7 million color capability and folds down to a tiny 1.93 inches without the stand. However, it can only tilt or fold and cannot pivot or be raised or lowered.
This monitor only has analog input ability, but does work with PCs and Macs. For gamers, this is not the fastest monitor at 12ms, but for most uses, this speed is fine.
Additionally, the contrast ratio and brightness level are below par compared to other monitors in its price range. The Planar PE1700 is an adequate monitor, but for the price, the Dell offers more features and is a bit faster.
