The LL–171A by Sharp Systems is a flat panel LCD monitor that offers some good power saving features and adjustability. With 430:1 contrast ratio, 20 ms response time and 250 cd/m^2 brightness, the Sharp LCD monitor is not the highest quality monitor we reviewed and it would not be ideal for gamers; however, it is fine for most home and office use.
This monitor has integrated 1W speakers and power as well as a headphone jack. We liked the power saving features of this model.It is also easy to set up with plug and play VESA DDC2B and its OSD user controls are available in eight languages. It is also Mac compatible.
This flat panel LCD monitor offers fair display and some good features and adjustability. This may be a good choice for office use, since it uses little energy and has integrated speakers. However, it is much too slow for gaming or for use as a video/television monitor.
